Are they doing 80's He-Man? There were a couple reboots of the franchise where He-Man was still buff but more slender overall. They re-imagined She-Ra fairly heavily, maybe this new He-Man project will as well.

There are definitely some kinda chubby pro gamers, but very few are obese and most that I’ve seen are just random average dudes.

I think that’s his daughter, not Kate.

I said “younger”, meaning “Younger than any generation that would know Tom and Jerry firsthand.”  I’m 45, and even as a kid I mostly saw Tom and Jerry in the form of synidcated reruns of older cartoons.  I don’t think any Tom and Jerry project would be aimed at actual kids unless they spent a huge amount of money

Amusingly, younger people might just see it as a ripoff of Itchy and Scratchy.

This article should be rewritten top to bottom in order to create a coherent narrative that explains to the reader what Elena Bergeron’s leaving has to do with...anything else in the universe. Because this article completely fails to do that.

I was fine with the twist, but there’s an awful, awful lot of Not-Iron Man in IM3.  It’s a decent enough Shane Black buddy action movie but not a great IM movie, IMO.

There was controversy at the time about how the movie would handle the Mandarin, and IMO, IM3 was just okay. Better than IM2, but lower half MCU overall.

May I ask where you get the 117 million from? That’s significantly higher than the numbers I’ve seen, and once you factor in marketing and the heavy foreign loaded box office (foreign dollars are nice but harder to recoup in real world terms than domestic) the numbers for that movie are not good. But you miss my

Apparently no one has seen Definitely Maybe, which I thought was charming.

Perhaps a movie like Civil War gives audiences a chance to see an actor like Bruhl and go “Hey, this guy was good as Captain Evil. Maybe I’ll check out his other stuff.” (Ironic given Thor was the other lead in Rush, which was a little financial failure of a movie that could use all the ancillary exposure from “evil”

I agree. I’m just saying why Android was singled out in the headline, and not Apple. Ethically (and in terms of space and brevity), the writer really can’t say “And also Apple will almost certainly keep it too but they’re stalling.”

Google has affirmatively stated they’re keeping the app. Apple is still studying the app and hasn’t given a final answer yet.

If it’s anything like the apple pencil the Sony stylus is a bluetooth device with a processor, antenna, and some sensors inside that all need power. It’s actively interacting with the hardware in the tablet, not just an object to apply physical pressure to the screen with.

There’s garbage music in every generation, people just filter the good stuff and forget all the mediocre-to-bad stuff in their personal timelines of music fandom.

Shadow ships looked super cool, the White Stars looked like plucked chicken carcasses.

I feel like there’s a better timeline where this series learned a completely different set of lessons from the various shortcomings of Far Cry 2, developed in a completely different direction, and that’s the series I wish I was playing. Ah well.  To put it another way, Crafting, Base Capturing, and wacky enemy

I wish folks would stop attributing the Pats success to a weak AFC East.  The Patriots do about as well against every other division.  They’ve just been very good for a long stretch.

If you freeze frame the footage she’s flying something I assume is experimental/made up for the comic books.  It’s not an 5-15, 16, it doesn’t even look like a Quinjet.
