I nominate Nick Tarabay.

Because they wanted to appeal to people like AeronPeryton with a prestige, pure science fiction show. See how much good will that earned them.

So far as I know Syfy no longer has any wrestling programming.

The Expanse is in season 3.

No, they couldn’t. They tried replaying old sci-fi shows and it was cheaper/more profitable at the time to do wrestling, ghost shows, and Sharknado type movies.

They’re thinking it got middling ratings and the deal they had for the show had pretty unfavorable terms.

“Solo: A Star Wars Story is... fine. Overall I liked it, didn’t love it”

FFS, those were some seriously measured reactions with repeated, consistent references to flaws, and a lot of “It was okay” or “I liked it but didn’t love it” and you’re still going with the “Of course they’ll say it’s good! Open your eyes sheeple!” narrative?

Those other ships are banging away with active sensors and comms, at red alert, looking for incoming missiles and communicating with other ships and whatnot. The Roci is coasting through quietly.

Embiid has consistently been gassed at the end of these games.

Speak for yourself. I’m fonder of the first Cap movie than most, but WW is better, and it’s certainly better than Thor 1.

The series is completely different now. They’re basically family superhero movies with cars. You jumped off on the weirdest outlier of any of them.

This scene. It’s (sort of) the anime version of JLU’s World of Cardboard scene.

Nah. I’ve watched so much Canadian and Canada-produced tv that that kind of thing rolls off my back. In fact in most cases I like it.

I suspect you’re going to be on a lonely, sparsely populated island with this opinion. Shohreh Aghdashloo is pretty great, and of course the lack of cursing is out of her hands.

Earlier seasons were heavily a mystery about a conspiracy, which structurally tended to be a lot of ‘Things not happening quite yet, about things you don’t know about quite yet”. With the Julie Mao/Protomolecule secret out, at least among the main characters, things can move forward more energetically.

I think Scarjo is very good when she’s given any sort of material to work with. I think she’s fantastic in Avengers in the scene where Natasha is trying to bring in Banner. I think she’s fantastic in the scene where she tricks Loki into revealing his plan. I think she’s great across the board in Winter Soldier,

I’ve always been perplexed by the idea that she had a rep as a lousy actor. She had a solid lineup of serious dramas and indie films before she got Avengers.

What frustrates me about the way some people interpret what she says in Age of Ultron is that people rarely remember/mention that Bruce had just argued his inability to have kids was a reason not to have a relationship. People are saying Nat says she’s a monster because she can’t have kids in the context of her

Sorrento-Gillis is dangerous because he’s a politician who thinks he’s a statesman. He’s too high minded for the vicious maneuvering he’d need to handle Errinwright, and vaguely wants to do the wise thing but doesn’t really have strong core principles. He just wants people to not think badly of him.
