Bomb is probably the wrong word. But aside from Wonder Woman they’ve all been critical failures and they’ve all underperformed relative to their budgets and profiles in the DC portfolio. When top tier DC movies are making money similar to second and third tier Marvel movies (usually at higher budgets), that’s bad.

No. Justice League risks making less money than Doctor Strange. That’s a disaster for DC. You can use whatever word you want, but those numbers are terrible for the big team up of DC’s tippy toppy most famous/valuable characters.

Fans don’t always ship imaginary ships and they don’t always make them up. People ship real life relationships (though many find that unethical/distasteful) and people ship canonical, “official-per-the-show” ships as well.

Isn’t a significant amount of mainstream celebrity news stuff essentially shipping? Who is dating who, who broke up with who, who cheated on who, who just got engaged, etc?

To also be fair, at least of this top ten list, of the ships/shows I actually know anything about, only 1 arguably features characters who don’t really interact much. All the others are people with significant relationships with each other (romantic or not). Wayhaught, Sanvers and Malec are straight up canon…
