Enh, it’s pretty easy to say there’s a bunch of entities that deal with (X special issue). Men in Black, RIPD, Dead Like Me, etc. I don’t think that’s a dealbreaker.

I like the show overall but I have to admit I did not like most of last season. I don’t like the crew all split up and I don’t care about Zombie Kingdom
Well, yes, obviously. Taking away the full team rez was the primary goal of the rework. But overall she got buffed and she can still rez in a way that’s tactically useful.
No. It’s 4 rezes over approx 20 seconds, not 40. And during that period she can be healing or damage buffing the entire team. The most cursory look at the gameplay footage people are putting up on youtube and twitch makes it clear this is a buff to Mercy, and not a small one either.
It’s 3 people in ten seconds, because of the rez cooldown reset when the ult fires.
Activating the ult instantly resets the cooldown on the rez. So,
“Are character changes this common in other character based multiplayer games?”
Okay. Generally when I see crutch used that way the connotation is negative. No problem.
Enh. Yeah, you don’t need “official permission” to make up cities or empires or any kind of notable aspects of the lore either, but having official materials with notable flavor, in the text or the art, can still be nice. And there’s D&D material that the players and DM have less control over that tie in, like…
I think it’s a little harsh calling pre-written adventures a “crutch”. They’re a tool that can can be useful.
I think it’s fair/reasonable to express “This is not the way I choose to demonstrate my feelings on this issue, but I want to show the crowd and the management that I support your right to do so.”
They don’t fit into the game. They’re just lore, like the lore in Mobas or the lore in CCGs. They add flavor and are basically in-house fanfic.
Lebron is the best player on either team, but he gets a year older every year. The Celtics have more depth and more youth. If they aren’t the better team overall this year (and that’s arguable), they will be very soon.
Enh, in Jessica Jones Luke was casually tapping people unconscious. They’re just inconsistent. The comics are inconsistent too *shrug*.
And the thing that motivates them is basically a city you’ve never seen and can’t possibly care about.
Yeah, maybe don’t tell “everyone” why they do or don’t like things. Speak for yourself. I’m fine with white Danny Rand, male Danny Rand, and rich Danny Rand. That’s all baked into the character. I like Colleen Wing, but all they need to do with her is make a Daughters of the Dragon spinoff movie.
1. Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer was very popular.
Enh, the game had a lot more problems than janky animations. It’s the first ME game I wasn’t able to finish, and the animations were low on my list of complaints.
Weird Fans: “Yoda is our favorite Jedi!”
I actually thought Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance was doofy fun. Not good, but a fun double header with say, Drive Angry.
