Chasing people off a point with the self-destruct while your team moves in is just about as good as killing them with the bomb, and it clears out entrenched turrets nicely.

For a lot of the game’s ults, the ability to force people to leave an area to dodge it can be almost as valuable as killing them in the area.

I suspect Blizzard’s internal datamining says different. I don’t think she needs more damage per se, but I’d like her effective range to be extended a bit. Right now you’re really got to get into people’s faces to do damage, and at that range her critical hitbox is nigh-unmissable.

Take it up with Blizzard, they put her in the Tank category. Zarya is the same way, she can’t really tank directly in the classic sense.
