I'm glad you guys followed this up and corrected it, but did you originally fact check the whole ammonia thing?

@MrSmoofy: Send them an email, or hit up their forums. I've noticed they are very responsive to customer issues. And yes, I do have the device, and it is fully capable of charging credit cards and depositing money into my bank account. Here's a picture I took of it: [twitpic.com] I've already received the credit for

@Ian Logsdon: You'd be amazed at the stuff that IS torrentable. Go look for some private sites.

First person to put GPS trackers on government owned vehicles and put them on a google map is the winner.

@EnglandRob: Those card reading machines cost about as much as a new iPod touch, and sometimes require monthly payments just to own.

@MrSmoofy: They're starting to actually ship them, they had to get their processing stuff together. It's not exactly easy to start a company that revolutionizes credit card payment.

The solution is easy: get a harassment injunction against the little punk, then force him to change his name.

My campus does this, incredibly annoying when it takes 10 minutes to "authenticate" if you choose to use MSE over the crappy Norton stuff they provide.

@JXC59: If my kids were to start going to public school (can't say I have any at the moment, but it's a feasible scenario both ways), I'd pay the taxes for public school. Also, as far as social security goes, I don't even really expect much out of it when I'm older as it is right now, I'd much rather manage my own

@FlawedHero: I would definitely hold them under scrutiny for late and unpaid water bills. ;)

For example, If I choose to provide private education for my children, should I have to pay for public education? If I

@warpsmith: Sad, but true. If budgets are tight, they won't exactly have too much of a problem with "teaching a lesson".

@bizzo98: Their exchange client is infuriating at best.

@Kat Hannaford: AFAIK, it's similar to how Vodafone handled it, if that helps.

Anybody know of a root app that tricks apps into thinking they're connected to wifi?

@EBone: Yep, mormons are told to have a year's supply. Not for any particular given reason other than it's a good idea, considering the frequency of natural disasters in a lot of places. Also, mormons typically have large families, so Costco is a pretty popular choice. Compared to the prices of buying bulk food like

@FlyingAvocado: With a year's supply, you can help feed others in the event of a large disaster. Plus, you just never know...

@smcallah: It's safe to assume this stuff is all designed to last a long time after being opened. It's probably all freeze dried. Also, ever heard of powdered eggs?
