@kuba.la: BYU, over at the practice field next to the soccer field.

I was there, total chaos, I got headshotted a few times. Was a blast though.

@PN - goopplesoft: I wouldn't be too surprised, it was total chaos out there. But everyone was over 18 and signed a release form, so stuff happens I guess. It's not like they weren't prepared for stuff like that, they had medics on hand and everything.

@Maave: FTPS. Like SFTP, but with ssh inside, instead of outside.

It seems like they've trimmed a lot of bloat out with this one, I'm wondering if they did some serious internal restructuring.

@skim32: The call happens over the browser. And it's had video chat for years.

@donlphi: I think they're taking less margin on this one, so they can push rentals. Parts to price ratio on this seems better than other apple products, I doubt it only costs them $15 to make one. And that sounds quite a bit like what Microsoft did with Zune.

I wonder if this could be used for language memorization, it seems like a good way to drill something in your head.

@nikeforces: No, it's Dr. Robotnik. The new games never happened. :P

It's a shame that such a locked down, proprietary format was chosen by Hollywood as the standard for HD movie distribution.

@Brian Richards: They could do this with the licensing agreement for google apps, but Android itself is open source, there is nothing to stop them in the actual OS. And AT&T has already proven that they have no problem shipping an android phone with Yahoo crap all over it.

@ehaus81: Looking into this one, thanks!

So wait, instead of buying nvidia and firing off their current graphics department, they decide to buy mcafee? Why?

DIY Ambilight?

@krztov: That's Sprint's family plan as well, with subsidy.

@geekening: How about that upload speed?

With her reaction, I'll give it a 75% chance of 4chan raid in her future.
