Android? Also, would be hilarious to see content providers reward me for consuming pirated versions of their media.

@rimplestultskin: They disabled that loophole on the 2.1 Hero update because Launcher2 was having some issues with it. Besides, most of Sense is still sitting in memory anyway, best thing to do is a custom AOSP flash.

@bdinger: I have the Hero, and the best part about it was when I flashed it - it was running vanilla Android. Even with the 2.1 update, it's vanilla.

@crsrc: You really think so? I would think Yahoo or Microsoft would screw it up way worse than Google ever would. And any of those would be better than what Facebook's done.

@xaijin: They still can't see what's going on.

@glaeven: xda-developers, root it, slap Fresh or Darchdroid on there (Fresh if he wants sense, Darch if he wants stripped down speed)

Hero? Please? Even the mytouch is getting it.

@tkavil3: Wow, that's exactly what I thought. Creepy.

Personally I'm a fan of launcherpro instead, but ADW isn't half bad.

@truthtempest: Having the vuvuzela there was totally hilarious though. Made for the ultimate sarcasm post.

@dfxdeimos: Doubly so if you're taking a picture of them in your own private property.

@123rufus: After reading your post, Steve Jobs punched a baby kitten in fury.

@Y2KGTP: Overall, the report is very misleading. I wouldn't worry about it.

@Y2KGTP: I can guess a couple:

@ian.g.case: I don't think they were really trying with the nexus, I think they mostly released it to set the bar on where the carriers should be.

@TampaShooters: Also, don't forget the unlimited mobile to mobile. It's effectively unlimited for everything in the end.

@dfxdeimos: I understand the relation between Media Centers and Media Center Extenders, and I appreciate the interface they put into it, but when it comes down to functionality, all you need is a good upnp client. Now, if my parents were using the media server as a DVR with a TV tuner, the Xbox would make a lot more

@dfxdeimos: As a media extender, you have to pay for Xbox Live to get netflix and such. There are plenty of people that could care less about having online gaming that just want that netflix functionality, which is why my parents bought a PS3.
