@libertao: Let me know when openoffice's dev team realizes that the Navigator is no substitute for a proper outline mode. A note taking app would also be nice.

@acatzr800: Intel is faster, clock for clock, if you're talking about having the same clock speed. As far as equivalent speeds go, this is a valid concern.

@bobkoure: That's what I meant - use the webUI through the VPN. Secures it and makes it easy to get to, static IP and all. That's why I also mentioned FileZilla (though 2.1 will remove the need for this).

Encrypts all traffic, so your school or workplace can't see what's going on, allows full use of any page, and you can run any network app you want through it (utorrent and FileZilla are personal favorites). Why doesn't Microsoft just give up on developing their own engine for IE? What do they really have to gain from it? Couldn't they just switch to WebKit or Gecko?
