Realtime combat has been around way before FF15/Kingdom Hearts/ Crisis Core. All the way back on the Super Famicon in ‘96 the 1st Star Ocean had real time combat, it nearly the same here, random battles and once in battle its free for all, with spell cool down and free roam so to speak

im a huge fan on the Star Ocean franchise since the SO: the Second Story, but they are doing worse with each iteration in the franchise. Whatever happened to square-enix just focusing on mobile games?
