I'm not calling any of my ex-girlfriends materialistic, they weren't (well, MOST of them weren't), but I think pretty much all of them would have rather me spend the extra $126 on the ring.

@Brookespeed: Oh no, I thought you meant just HBO, like "HBO, but not Showtime, or Starz, etc."

"Dear Congress, please make this a law so we can make money, no other reason, thanks!" This is basically what they are saying, right?

Too bad, there are a couple HBO shows that I might watch if only I can see what I already missed. I'm not paying to see them, though.

@Brookespeed: I can with my provider, its just that it costs more money to get just HBO versus getting them all. Strange, I know. I apparently would be charged more if I wanted to get my landline taken off too.

@Cash907Censored: @Sweetz: Good point, wasn't even thinking of that. When I said accuracy doesn't matter, I meant a few inches here and there though, not that you could shoot anywhere and score a killing shot.

Awesome recap. But shotgun shells spray a little when shot, so accuracy isn't the most important thing. Now, how much wood would need to get into the heart to kill a vampire is something I'm sure Tru Blood could have gone over if they just cut out some of the "hey, vamp blood cures people" scenes over the years.

It is just a conspiracy to get Michael Cera's market value down to make sure he's free when the Arrested Development movie is ready to film.

I remember when Mario Kart came out, there was a commercial for some Genesis racer that mocked it much like Blur did. When I saw the Blur commercial, the first thing I thought was, "ooh, that didn't work out so well last time."

@Daveinva: You had me until the Citizen Kane comparison.

When I saw "Crews" pop up in the Expendables trailer, I was more surprised that his name was put up there along with Stallone and the rest, then I thought, "oh, now I want to see it."

@crosis101: Absolutely not, I will not click on any tvtropes links.

@RenRen: Didn't know that, so the name unobtanium is even less creative than I previously thought.

I loved BioShock, but one thing that bothered me, was that they show you this beautiful setting on the pod ride over, then the whole game you are stuck in a rather drab enviroment. I understand why they did it, as it works in the story, but I always wanted to play around in Rapture when it was "active", and in its

So, what Cameron is saying is that Avatar 2 is going to be even more preachy than the first, great.

@Kenro199x: In Avatar's defense, it was the 3-D that helped me see the ending a mile away. If I had seen in in 2-D, I might have only seen teh ending coming about a half mile away.

@houser: True, I personally count Buffy and Angel as one (I do for most spinoffs, its not a comment on those two shows in particular).

Before clicking on the link to read the story, I thought "childish characters, like ewoks and Jar-Jar."

Without commenting on the Google Verizon pact, since I look at is as them not wanting to lock into rules that will affect things that don't exist yet (mobile networks are still pretty immature, and can be completely different in 5 years).

I don't know who's older, but if you asked me to guess, I'd say Scarlett. The only thing I've seen Blake Lively in is Accepted, and in my mind, I don't picture her as old enough to be a mother, let alone an astronaut.
