@DocSeuss: True. I'm not sure what point you're trying to make, though. I didn't disagree with that or state otherwise. I brought it up since that's one of the points that got unintentionally mentioned in one of the posts above despite the poster meaning to make another point.

@steev-sama: I thought your point was that for an MMO there was a subscription, and therefore would have boosted THQ's revenue. I think it changes your point a whole lot being that THQ don't have a running MMO in their line-up.

@TanyaRei: Did you miss that list of developers I supplied? Or did you just decide to intentionally ignore it and continue arguing fruitlessly?

@steev-sama: You're clearly confused if you think you're talking about an MMO here.

@TanyaRei: Is that so? Then, by all means, do list them. I'd really love to see where you get your numbers.

@DocSeuss: I think he probably meant the 3 current main Windows versions for gaming, which are XP, Vista and 7.

@Livingtarget: Is a JUKE BOX HERO...: Whatever extra costs developing on PC might entail, I would think the insane amounts of money spent on marketing and advertisement campaigns on the console side far surpass that beyond comparison... plus the royalty fees... and (when talking about independent games) the whole

@TanyaRei: Please list those thousand console devs.

@MuteButton: I would say try the demo. You've got nothing to lose.

@Tokidoki(何時も): I'm not far into it (only an hour in), but it seems pretty cool so far. There are plenty of nice little touches with the way the ball reacts to the environment (one example is how it heats up when you put it over a fire). The puzzles are fairly straightforward for now, but being in the first level,

@HappyGamer: It's been "dying" for the last twenty years. I foresee it to still be "dying" many years more into the future.

I guess I'm mainly going to be playing The Ball (previously a UT3 mod), maybe Dogfighter if the MP is fixed (which I got for very cheap), and maybe even slip in some mutliplayer in the form of TF2, L4D2, Dead Rising 2 and a bit of Blazblue.

Well, I only have a gaming desktop, but I do have a netbook that I play my GOG games on.

@Bhazor: It happened to me, too, and I had to wait a week or so to get it back. It took support 2-3 days to reply, and we had a small exchange of a couple of emails, but nothing was really explained. All I was told is that I was suspected of fraud (which, BTW, is completely automated I was told as it's their system

@Sugoi: It actually is. Except for MMOs, you cannot launch games outside of the Steam client.
