I'd just like to point out that this is a FLASH-based game for all you guys interested but not sure whether your x-year old PC can run it.

@bowen13: Well, it is the same mindset for console games, too. You are essentially only buying a license to use the game regardless of platform. The difference is that this is not yet enforced on consoles. However, as consoles dive too into digital distribution, this will become easier for them to put into effect.

@RaptureScientist: Mirror's Edge was great. People just don't appreciate a good game that takes a risk and does something different, but instead want to be fed the same crap over and over again (i.e Sims, Madden, FIFA, etc..).

@W10002: Don't be so sure about the first part. The CryEngine 3 is a scaled down version of the CE2 with some added features. Taking that into consideration in addition to the fact that it'll be optimized for consoles, it should be easier to run on PCs with lower requirements than the first.

Remedy, you are dead to me! DEAD!

@MacGyver1138: Agreed. One of the worst game launches I've personally experienced. This is the last multiplayer DICE game I buy so close to launch, and at full price.

@MacGyver1138: I don't suppose you're on XP-64? That's almost always problematic, and almost never supported by anyone. If that's the case I would advise getting rid of it, and saving yourself some headaches.

I believe he's referring to the awkward animations in the game. The game looks great no doubt, but the animations sometimes feel like they're not on the same level, so maybe that's what he means by "uneven".

At this point, I'm not interested in the game anymore, so whether they release it or not I'm not buying.

*clap clap clap*

@tk.: I'm not sure why you should base your opinion of the game based on which previous FF games you liked.

Hey, the more the merrier I say. Macs are PCs, too, regardless of what Steve Jobs likes to claim.

Does it make me a bad person to be happy that this happened to the people who bought the game and decided to have faith in Ubisoft and their expected failure of a DRM scheme?

WoW is an MMO. This is a single player game. See the difference?

@Alex_Mexico: He is right, actually. The RSX is a fancy name for a Geforce 7800 chip, while the Xenos is a fancy name for a Radeon R500 chip. The 7800 is indeed weaker than the R500, which is also the first chip to use unified shaders instead of separate vertex and pixel shaders.

@NeVeRMoRe666: It's still an exclusive as far as consoles are concerned even if it were to be released on PC, though.

@DigitalHero: I wouldn't hold my breath on this getting ported. Microsoft seems to really want this to be exclusive to their console, seeing how quickly they managed to turn it from a PC exclusive, to a PC and 360 title, and finally to a 360 exclusive.

@Scott: What has been seen...

@balls187: Nothing wrong with simply having the option. After all, that's what PC gaming is about.. options and flexibility in everything. I don't think anyone is arguing that the PC version shouldn't have its own suitable UI, which is great that it does.
