where the hell are the dancing cats?

haha, physics lab, we're building a pretty simple circuit with capacitors. for some reason we aren't getting discharge, jason looks down, waves his hand over the board (to disperes the smoke) 'oops, backwards'. so he drops it in the bucket of caps and grabs another one (doh!). i hope he didn't get into quality control.

not to mention that Verizon was pretty much at ground zero... even our training switch (CO in a trailer) was sent up to NY to help out. I got 2 calls in the repair center on sep 11 01, our switches weren't down but the SoE required us to stop service except for A lines, and essential trunks.

used to hear lots of stores back in my telco days about early splices and follies.

@barrywoods: yeah, maybe giz can cover that under 'recent tech' (where is the gizmodo military page, the military gets some fo the coolest gadgets evar!)

i assumed this is an evolution of the advanced fire control systems of the apache. the gunner needs only to move his head and the chin gun will turn with him/her. as well they can launch hellfires and (somewhat) redirect the missles to alternate targets. all from tracking the head movements of the helmet and it's

@Arken: it's all just based on repetetive motion. i refused to learn proper techniques when i was 8 and i type way faster than anyone i know who does. of course i also skip lots of punctuation and caps.
