As someone who has spent a decade working in digital video, this stuff is so disheartening. While no industry seems to be immune from inhuman behavior in pursuit of fractionally higher profits, the broad lack of organized labor in video has, I feel, made people like myself more vulnerable to those machinations.

Honestly, to my view, and full disclosure I may be quite a bit older than the average user of this site, this guy’s shtick screams “ignore me, I’m a troll”, I’m unclear why I’ve witnessed multiple days of people trying to argue with him in good faith.

Feelings are always real. If someone feels offended by that tweet, they are free to be offended. I personally (obviously) do not see how anyone could be offended without wanting to be.
