This! Rachel could be annoyingly immature and a little ditzy from time to time, but he was a full out sociopath who took advantage of and at times belittled her for it.

The worst part was when his mockery and disdain of Rachel’s career was played for laughs.

Especially when it came to his son wanting to play with dolls and stuff, like Ross wasn’t the epitome of a manly man either so he should have understood that little boys don’t really care either way usually. 

I like how Jennifer Aniston’s PR team didn’t say anything and Schwimmer’s had their day in the sun. That must have been so exciting for his PR team!

Of course they’re not. They’re on a break.

Ross was a terrible, awful person, friend, and boyfriend. His controlling, insecure attitude was disguised as “cute.”

A friend of mine is an antique collector, and he would see Mike at antique shows back before he was on TV.  He described him as a “know-it-all dick.”

Let’s say you have 100 people in the same occupation, and one of them decides to make a reality show out of it.

My uncle is actually a “picker” in this line of work, and if you do it with the right person it’s actually kind of fascinating. He can walk into any antique store or garage sale and tell you the age, manufacturer, and actual value of pretty much every item there.

Yeah I found this show insufferable. The show was 90% “Lets go find an old hoarder and offer him $50 for his most precocious crap”.    Its that reality TV genre of “Lets justify all the crap we have is actually worth something” which just enables people with mental issues to hoard crap.  

It’s the Discovery, Inc. media company. They’ve sucked the meaning out of nearly every educational show they can get their hands on: Discovery Channel, Science Channel, Animal Planet, TLC (The Learning Channel), Food Network, HGTV, Travel Channel.

Oh yeah, this was pure boomer porn.  Like Antique Roadshow, it made them think all the crap they had in their basements and attics were secret treasures and not just water damaged homes for rodents

I never cared for either of these guys or their show. They both come off as arrogant vultures and it’s not surprising they’re both sniping at each other.

This was a program my Grandpa liked to watch.  It definitely felt like it was made for that demographic.

being the right type of alcoholic can be charming and lucrative for a time, under the right circumstances. long term though? it always comes off the rails

Ever notice that the cable “education” channels that were touted as a market-driven replacement for PBS like History, Discovery, TLC. etc. have all turned in to homes for crappy reality shows, conspiracy theories and pseudoscience? I guess that pays better than boring old facts and science.
