Let me guess: these are primarily men doing this.

It’s never too late to win the breakup.
I watch a lot of fucked up daytime television but this.....is next level.
Can confirm anecdotally - when my mom was in med school in the seventies one of her fellow students decided it would be hilarious to pretend to jump rope with a cadaver’s intestines. Her school definitely took it seriously as he was promptly kicked out.
I got to see pics of my surgery too but they were printed out. I think it is odd for a doc to use their personal phone? There should probably be a dedicated digital camera in surgery for that?
A few months ago I was creeping onremembering a guy that I went on one date with some years back. Just a google search and I saw that he had lost his Physician’s Assistant license for photographing a patient’s penis in the ER. Apparently this was a trend of his as there was an investigation into him that ended with a…
Exactly. Your surgeon might have saved the pic to accompany an article in a medical journal, or if the specimen was unusual in some way or malignant, photos of bodily organs are shown at tumor conference. This conference happens once a month at just about every hospital for educational purposes. I used to go to tumor…
I recently had surgery and the surgeon asked if I wanted to see what the inside situation looked like and showed me a photo on her phone. I assumed she was going to show other surgeons. This really doesn’t bother me at all, though I can see now why others would find it invasive and inappropriate. Where this situation…
I know from my doctor sibling’s experience that they very much already go over “don’t be inappropriate with cadavers or people’s body parts” in medical school. Whether people ignore this or not, well - it’s clear they ignore it.
Wow, you’ve really proven me wrong about the whole boomer thing.
Would you tell your male coworker to smile because he’s so much more handsome when he does?
I say this every time: It’s not hard. IF YOU WOULDN’T DO IT TO A MAN DON’T DO IT TO A WOMAN.
Because the authorities aren’t going to listen to a bunch of uppity teenage girls over a nice white Christian couple, especially in a state that explicitly protects “faith-based” (Christian) facilities from oversight.
This so much. I tried to make a similar point to someone recently who was downplaying Cuomo’s behavior.
I remember when a politician called me a girl. At the time, I was in my 30s, and I honestly had no idea what he was talking about. (My mom has this nasty habit too. I was telling her about a work problem, and she kept referring to my coworker as a girl. I had to remind my mom that the woman was in her 50s!)
The Dateline episode about this was nuts. (I listen to the podcast version, but I’m sure the TV version was hard too.)
19 times. people had complained about this hell-hole to various authorities 19 times in the past, and they did nothing.
It seems we live in a society where horrible things like this happen all the time, and the authorities are constantly receiving reports about it, but the system only takes action when white people make viral-eligible posts on social media about it.
Social media can be a nightmare for any number of reasons, but I don’t think that the abusers of yesteryear are prepared to withstand the counterattack that is direct testimonials on Twitter, Tiktok, Instagram, etc. Places like this that can get away with casual cruelty for decades are imploding and I’m super into it.
The woman has strong Sarah Huckabee energy. They both channel the “dead-eyed church bitch” look.
