They weren’t changing the terms of the original deal, because that deal ended with Away From Home. They were renegotiating a new deal and Sony, getting cocky now that Marvel basically made them a crapload of cash, thinks they’ll be better on their own.

That was a bad answer and this is a bad take.  Tucker Carlson isn’t asking the question in bad faith as a way to discriminate against Muslims.  This is a Muslim activist asking for help from a powerful Muslim lawmaker at a Muslim conference to help a Muslim community where the problem exists.

yeah, no this is not a good look at all, given that the questioner was a muslim activist asking for support for a cause which she says is an issue in her area.

I get that, but she was literally at a panel held by the Muslim Caucus Education Collective, being asked a question by a community activist from the Muslims for Progressive Values. Not exactly shocking that an Islam-specific issue would come up.

She already has a record on FGM, and has done exactly what this reporter was asking her to do on multiple occasions.
