This movie should be taught in film school as how to tell an entertaining story.  This series’ unnatural progression in lore and storytelling is a masterclass in playing to your strengths.

While I think there are avenues that could somehow block a conviction vote, I don’t think any involve Mitch.  It becomes a trial held in the senate and ruled by John Roberts.  Mitch provides a vote and that’s about it.

I would believe you if Pelosi and the rest of the senior Dem leads outlined this as a show of force and to reassure the American people that they are going to actively resist this obstruction.  I really really hope you’re right.

This is my problem with the current speaker as well. We all know what’s coming next, so have a plan in place to build the investigation to provide true oversight of the executive.  They are so afraid of fighting back that it’s disgusting.

You’re not arguing my point. You’re using a strawman to argue against why this particular impeachment point is worth accepting while using the hypothetical of a Pence administration as a point.

I’m really curious why they didn’t have the battle at the dawn.  Some have said that it was due to the fact that they could hide actual battlefields number in the dark better, but it seems to me that daytime would have worked better for everyone involved with the filming.
