And he teamed up with BB-8? Or wait... maybe he BUILT BB-8!

Yeah, I’d be mad on her behalf if she was making less than Kate MacKinnon, but the other two are the box-office draw. At that point in her career, she was not.
At some point, are we going to find out which other Daily Show contender leaked this to the investigative journalists?
I would be interested to know what part of the country you’re in. My survey started in central Texas, went north through the Great Plains, and then east through the Rust Belt. My intuition is that Van Halen still gets played a lot on the West Coast. Kind of like how Offspring, Bad Religion, etc. are still in…
I want to know more about Michael Cera and Harvey Keitel hanging out. Was this a regular thing back in 2008? What did they do together? Were they “picnic in the park” types, or underground poker game buddies?
Obligatory “[Insert your favorite MAX content here] got yanked from the servers, but THIS survived?!?” post.
So he had an idea, but didn’t have a story. And he had a vague idea for three of the four leads (only one of whom was even aware of the idea, as far as we know). There’s a lot of reasons to dislike Ryan Murphy; I’m just not sure if “talking out his ass about a project during COVID and then not following through” is…
I’ve been in the same room while people were watching DWTS for several years. What in the world do they use a WGA writer for? Does the writer come up with the theme weeks or something? Is the banter between star and dancer during rehearsal scripted?
Has any band managed to run their careers into the ground worse than Van Halen? In 1996, they could have coasted with Hagar for another two decades, just playing arenas and putting out albums people politely ignored. Instead, it was a lead singer carousel and a series of poorly-received tours.
Didn’t “Edging” come out back in the spring?
Pretty much. She gets the $225 million upfront, and they get future royalties. She might still get a smaller rate as a performer, but I’m not sure.
It’s the replacement for the Wendy Williams show. Same crew, same non-WGA contract.
She doesn’t tour that much, actually; never has. Not sure why that is, unless her team doesn’t think her voice can handle performing every night for long stretches. She has done Broadway, but only for a few months, and I would think doing a 90-minute show is very different than singing a few songs a night on Broadway.
Katherine Ryan is hilarious. That is all.
Are you disparaging the sheer poetry of “nah-nah-na-nah-na-nah-na-nah, give it up, baby give it up?”
Remember when the most famous atheists were Bill Maher and Ricky Gervais? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
I see Jerry Harrison got his suit pressed and his face stretched for the occasion.
He’s never going to be on TV (or streaming) again. If he were to put together another show, it would be pretty well ignored and be hosted on his own website. Other actors would refuse to work with him. Yes, he can still perform live, and some people will pay to see him. But I doubt it’s the same people who were buying…
I get that she’s protective of her film and her vision for the film. And I haven’t seen the film. But I wonder what would have happened if potential investors had said “Tell me, why am I supposed to like this person?” rather than use the word woman. Is the problem that they’re sexist, or is the problem that the main…
I, for one, would welcome this.
