Get fake mad. That is what all the writers at Gawker and Jez do every day. A lot of fake white guilt to be specific.

Jezebel, I'm really sad that you unfollowed me and my comments are now grayed out. :( I feel like I comment often and get lots of stars.

I just came here to say the same thing. She giggled in disbelief about the controversy and addressed it such a simple way.

Because those are the only 4 covers that exist in Elle magazine

When Jez (and other outlets) wrote outraged articles about the Melissa McCarthy she came forward and told everyone to calm the hell down because she pulled the coat off the rack and wanted to wear it (in fact I think she said she liked it so much she wanted to steal it) and that she loves and endorsed the photo.

What—exactly—is Jezebel hoping for here? That she be framed as squat and plump?

It's her way of saying "I'm not making jokes about them because I think I'm better than them, but because I know I'm not". I think she's classy and sassy for it. And not just because we share a birthday, albeit 9 years apart.

Tosh's joke was funnier than Natasha's. Good on her for not apologizing though. It's really weird to see Jezebel not being offended by a joke and demanding apologies. Hypocritical?

I'm betting that dress also comes in maternity sizing and they just fucked up placing the right picture with the right size range.

Way back then we were not requiring the realism we do today. And please recall that Linda Carter had/has that see through place at the top of her legs. I always wanted that and now it isn't cool. Don't care. I still want it

Pointing out something is pseudoscience is not mocking.

Wait a minute - so if someone in your family is a different race you can't take a family photo because then it's a prop? I'll remember that from now on - no cameras....

Are they stupid or do they just think their supporters are too stupid to see the difference between pointing out hypocrisy and mocking children?

One photo after his primary political career, no less.

I really don't understand how Mitt Romney used his child as a prop by releasing ONE press photo. You guys are really pushing it. I'm no romney fan but jeeze atleast TRY to seem unbiased in your criticism. You're only doing the same thing the right does.

It's unrealistic to think that people will only look at you online and it won't crossover into real life. This woman is trying to create a brand for herself, and being recognized is part of that brand. She doesn't deserved to be mistreated or have her privacy violated, but it's silly to act like you're able to choose

You are absolutely right, but I do think it's disingenuous. Like when a model claims she is "shy", I'm like... okay. It seems disingenuous. She has every right to feel uncomfortable about creepers. But the modesty feels false and put on, and I do think it has to do with cultural expectations that sexually active women

Agreed, unfortunately that is not the state of the world we are in.

Fully agree that we should be able to wear anything while having our personal boundaries respected, I really wish we lived in that world.

As someone who used to be an avid gym goer, going to the gym in oversized tees and loose pants isn't really comfy. I never walked around in just a sports bra and short shorts or anything. Usually I was in a flattering cut of sweat pants (not the old timey ones, I swear!!) and a tank top. I would catch men looking at
