Well they did drop XServe. Maybe it's taking longer than thought to get those Unix servers up and running. /endsarc

I dunno. Like my friend said when he was trying to square strippers out with his world-view of respecting women: "don't think of them as people, think of them as sexy robots." In both cases, sales people and strippers, they're attempting to short circuit the sort of interpersonal relationships that make the world go

You can't think of car salesmen as actual people; they'll use that against you. Think of them as robots. Robots that want nothing but more of your money. And what do we do when up against robots? (or giant companies; think Google searching for a better price on Amazon) We look for the cheapest deal.

I heard the University of Lancaster just made up their accreditation.

"The biggest reason people stopped buying dvds and blurays is because of these lawsuits and the threats of lawsuits"

$52 to make your Mac more Windows like. Interesting.

Someone powerful got pretty butt-hurt over the view or the people coming to visit and called in a favor. I'm pretty certain that's what's going on here.

Putting the Gawker in Gizmodo

"filled with lassos of hair rising lightning bolts."

Way more so than iOS or Android.

Wifi mirroring I agree with; that is pretty cool. And don't remind me of WebOS; the potential of the OS was murdered by poorly built hardware. I loved my Pre until I was on my 3rd unit in less than a year. Palm seems do be doing some interesting phone/tablet integration that shows some potential ala iMessaging. I

Yeah, it's just funny. It all feels "Art of War" to me; make your enemies appear weak by association blah blah blah. It just...reeks of PR and spin. Obviously we're all willing to take that kind of stuff in stride, but it's too much for me not to notice.

it's both, kinda: "to introduce something new; make changes in anything established."

Huh, I didn't notice it until reading this over but...

Hey! Thanks for the snark buddy. Luckily you missed my point. Whenever they discuss their computers it's by "Mac" unless they're discussing a negative ("Post PC" being the second biggest next to "I'm a PC, I'm a Mac"). I don't think you'll hear "Post Mac" or "Macs are in the speeds and feeds business". Nope, instead

Thanks. Here's an example of what I'm talking about: [twitpic.com]

Anyone else find it funny that Apple touted wireless sync as "PC Free" and not, say, "Mac Free"? Every time they talk about computers in the negative sense they use "PC". Thank God though, I don't want my iPad to touch my computer again. Ever.

Man, haters gunna hate. Hell yeah, let T-Pain sell his image. Godspeed Mr. T. Pain.

If we see any terrorists with thunder thighs we'll know what they were reading.
