There's a few pieces by my art school friends in this post. The top gif is by Stephen Loveluck. The Velocity Comics show poster's by one of my teachers, Bizhan Khodabandeh. Here's a page by another VCUArts alumni, Richie Pope.

Speaking of Last Man, First Second is in the process of translating it. First issue is out in March!

Makes me think of shmup ports that stuck to their lives system versus ports that allowed for infinite lives. The tension's completely lost when there's no risk involved.

Astal was one of the first games I played on my Saturn. I was terrible at it. Good memories, though.

I hated this game. I mean, I played the hell out of it and was an intense Taz fan... But I hated it.

I remember playing Dynamite Headdy as a kid and being pretty confused about what was happening. I played it recently and I'm still confused by it. I also love it.

The more musou the merrier.

The lighting is a little nicer, but the flatter colors and deeper blacks fit better with Street Fighter, I think.

Hmm...

Bottom is new.

This game looks beautiful so far. Came across this comparison between previous trailers and the new one on NeoGaf... I like it. If only I didn't have to wait a year or more to play it.

I was going to say no, but I'd miss remote play if a PS5 ever happens and doesn't have a portable companion. In that case maybe they should just stick to the Vita since remote play would work the same. They could upgrade it ala the New 3DS, give more power, improve the controls. Starting from scratch seems kind of

Makes sense.

I'm confused by the pre-release hype surrounding this game. Where were the high expectations coming from? Am I missing something?

You can already play classic Nintendo games on smartphones.

Who said they aren't adding new characters?

So.....

Dat virtual Kallax.

:'(

I want every Yakuza game in English so badly.
