er, there are compressed mud/sand walls that are thousands of years old, with a roll of gas proof plastic and a brick mold, you have airtight structures very quickly without the need for acres of solar cells or a nuclear reactor to melt rocks etc, much quicker, easier, safer and therefore cheaper.

i did mine in the uk, a budget of zero pounds, yet mine had 300 watts of solar panels as well as a piece of aviation ali honeycomb sandwich which could heat 30 gallons of water to near boiling point very quickly and still worked on dull winter days well enough for a bearable power shower.
