I was crazy about Bukowski when I was younger and then as I got older I realized the way he wrote about women kind of hurt my feelings. So. I moved on.

She actually is a really nice person and tries to be really gracious when people bring up her addiction and cosmetic surgery issues. She was really nice to Jenny McCartney (sp?) who was a Nancy Grace like shrew to her during an interview (god help my soul that I know this information).

Honestly, how is that not enabling? I mean, it’s not illegal to give someone a platform but...if they’re an addict they’re technically in a more vulnerable state? No? It seems wrong to throw lots of money at them and then ask them to detail their possibly dangerous exploits.

I’m genuinely curious about what you dislike about his policies? Do you just dislike who he is as a character? I see him as “old” and grumpy because he gets a lot of pushback. That might be demoralizing for anyone who wants to do some “good” in politics.

Yea, I agree. Some politicians, including Reps, are legit disgusted. Others are just excited about having their time in the spotlight during turbulent times. It makes them feel special to get so much attention for their outrage.

I wonder if he’s getting compassion fatigue? If he does a lot of social work it can really burn you out; sometimes you end up with contempt for the very people you want to help.
