12. William Sadler did naked tai chi in Die Hard 2. He was also in a few episodes of Star Trek Deep Space Nine, playing Luther Sloane, the sinister Section 31 agent.

Bayonetta is out on PC now, and it's a very good port. I hope this means other Platinum games (like the amazing Vanquish) might come to the PC.
Some more Mass Effect Andromeda this weekend. Currently on my second playthrough, this time as FemRyder. Bioware just released a patch yesterday that fixed some of the most pressing issues, including the faces of the characters. It's mostly just the eyes and some toned down make-up, but a few shaders make a big…
You actually meet two Cerberus scientists in the game doing unethical experiments on aliens, as well as some ex-Cerberus people who form an anti-AI terrorist group.
I finished Mass Effect Andromeda yesterday. A great finale that feels like the Mass Effect 3 ending done right, with a nice epilogue (and numerous sequel hooks). I've grown fond of the crew over my 50+ hours playthrough, so hopefully it won't be like Dragon Age where the whole cast gets replaced in the next game. If…
As much as I enjoyed playing ME:A, I have to agree that there's just so much pointless filler and busywork. When it focuses on the characters, it does a pretty good job. The Tempest crew has grown on me a lot, especially after doing the loyalty missions. Too bad it's all buried under a mountain of "collect x things"…
Finally some Mass Effect Andromeda this weekend. I've played about 8 hours so far, and while there are some janky animations and overall some missing polish, I like it a lot. One thing this game gets right is the feeling that you are truly exploring the unknown, helping to set up this civilisation. I've just …
Oh man, that sucks. :(
What exactly did happen? I read the posts yesterday, but couldn't make heads or tails of it. Sad to see him go, Politics Corner was one of the first things I read every morning.
Seven Days! Now that was one good sci-fi show. It had the right kind of charm and 90s cheese to be memorable. I don't know if it was cancelled because 9/11 happened but I guess it was one of the factors why they decided to cancel it.
The problem with Enterprise was that Berman and Braga were still stuck in the 90s while the TV landscape had changed. Combine that with the wasted prequel premise, and you've got yourself a franchise killer. Enterprise has some good moments (and some genuinely great episodes in its last two seasons), but mostly it was…
One of my favourite FPS games. There's nothing more satisfying than gunning down dozens of Nazis with dual-wielded automatic shotguns.
The Old Blood is very fun too, except maybe for the mandatory stealth section at the beginning.
That is true, you can get arrested and sued for insulting someone. Insulting a cop is no different. They're most likely just going to slap you with a fine, unless you get violent.
Where does your coworker get this from? That's not how it is over here at all.
The removal of swastikas in video games is because they are classified as toys, as opposed to movies, TV shows and the like, which count as art. The censorship of violence though has lessened of the years. For example, the new Wolfenstein games replace all the Nazi symbols and any mention of them with eagles and "the…
I can see where you're coming from. Prometheus is ultimately a load of wasted potential. The utterly idiotic behaviour of the characters is my biggest peeve as well. I can still enjoy the movie for the great visuals, though.
Whoa, even with all its flaws (and there are many), you have to admit Prometheus is still way better than that horrible AvP movie. At least it felt like a real movie and had some artistic value, compared to the "Syfy Original" look and feel of Requiem.
Since I finally have some time to play video games, it's going to be The Walking Dead: A New Frontier and Rise of the Tomb Raider for me.
I was looking forward to this show after hearing about it for the first time about three days ago. But I hate nothing more than a show with a bad ending. Ah well, time to watch one of the other dozen shows in my Netflix queue.
Well, it was more of a general thing: Cassian shooting his informant because he wasn't able to escape the Imperials, the general ordering him to shoot Galen Erso instead of capturing him, the admiral sending the corvette on what amounts to a suicide mission to ram the star destroyer… just some minor things to show…
