The comments from my own community when the story broke was horrifying.

I was at a restaurant when one of the customers started arguing with the bartender because he assumed that she had overpriced his order. He goes into a fit, yelling at the bartender and the owner. The cops get called, and two uniforms came into the restaurant to deal with the guy.

When confronted with a similar scenario you deescalate the situation and don’t treat people like sitting on the floor is equivalent to a crime. Trying to pull a child out of a mother’s arms is not deescalation. 

What happens if these folks can’t pay? I can’t imagine many of them have a grand in cash lying around unused.

It probably cost more to jail her than the fines would ever amount to.

Growing up my best friend’s mother died like this but she was a poor white woman. She had a bad cold, a cough and had seen her doctor. She was due to get a chest X-ray but died the night before in her sleep. It sucks hard. She was in her 40s, was a smoker and I don’t think they took it all that seriously

Medical cannabis does wonders for any neuropathic pain, or neuro-anything, really. If it has to do with the nervous system, cannabinoids are probably your best bet.
