And I’m not sure he really appreciates the scaling attack speed modifier for cats once they get aggro. If I pet my cat when he’s mildly annoyed with me, he’ll swipe at my hands when I touch him, but if he’s pissed he uses preemptive strike and my hand takes damage before I even think about petting him again.

Exile III is still the best. That might admittedly be nostalgia for a large part as the Exile trilogy was massively important to me during a formative age, but I liked the sprites and references more that got sorta...phased out in Avernum. Also unlike the newest remakes of that trilogy you can close doors.

Exile 2 and Exile 3? Oh hell yeah! Got demos of those in PC Gamer way back when and actually bought 3 because I loved them so much. Simple RPGs but they were really enjoyable. Time to start up another adventure!
