Some of the guys I live around at college are huge Syracuse fans. I go to SUNY Fredonia, about 3-4 hours from Syracuse. Only some of the people who root for Syracuse actually live in Syracuse.

He's saying that all of those people made excellent films early in their careers, and have since made at least one shitty film that earned negative reviews, thus refuting what Harry Palm said about "a law that says that if a director makes a good movie early on then thereafter every movie they do must be considered…
I saw Shrek as a kid; my family enjoyed it.
It's more of a dick in the FCC's and the general public's face. This is simply bad for the entire internet, and this, combined with the losing battle for net neutrality makes me nervous as fuck.
I always used to watch Meatballs before I'd go to summer camp. It's not a perfect film by any means, but it's damn fun.

"It’s also the chance for everyone to make “You know what’s cool?” jokes about supervillainous genocide for the next year-plus that we still have until the movie. "
I attend college in Fredonia, and have finally watched the series in advance for the film, so count me sad that it isn't coming to Buffalo. I would've taken the bus up to the city just for this.
"Team" hit number 8 on the US Billboard chart, and I've heard it on the radio a bunch.
Hero might've been the wrong term, honestly. How about someone likable though? A character I don't immensely hate.
