Pay money to use sites that make money off of you but to your own Goverment as well? I feel like the idea is backwards. I think the Social Media sites should be taxed by the government if they want to continue to exploit their citizens data.

Thats why they will have family tickets for $65

Most things with AI are still not that impressive and when you think of AI it is still just in it’s infancy with a set of rules applied to a task. I still think it is far off before we have AI thinking for itself and being able to mimic human thought and make smarter decisions. I think intelligent AI will require

Pretty sure they are doing this because they probably have a ton of old cards stocked up now that using gpus to mine has died down

The death of Instagram begins.

Social networks and sites like Instagram are birthing children that lack empathy or common sense. It’s going to be the destruction of society.

In another story, “Facebook sells a tool to bypass their third party tracking killer tool for additional cost to third parties.”

Why is this thing even priced so high? Tech prices have gone down significantly and VR is still getting off its feet. I bought an original Vive for the price of this one but it included everything, controllers, tracking units, etc.

I don’t see music services be profitable forever. There are just to many. I was on Spotify but signed up for Google music with their intro rate if 7.99 and been holding on to that ever since. Also ended up getting YouTube red for free with it. Probably never switch again, can’t beat that 7.99 price.

Oh how I wish we lived in a time again when news sites, especially tech sites did not post political crap 24/7 and comments were not full of high school type theatrical drama.

I know they are still around and also publisher of a few sites like Engadget and kept a float by companies like Apple but they are nowhere like where they used to be. They were at one time the largest internet company. Kind of how Facebook is now. Facebook will always be around but their glory days are over.
