Being totally honest, I stopped playing V when the HD remaster of II came out, and after playing that for a bit I was like, "oh, it must have been because of Link."

I beat that game 3 times. The second time was because I'd mastered the combat mechanics and was eager to give the bosses a smacking on my second run (it's much harder than it looks).

I have a lot of love for the Baten Kaitos games and will fight anyone who says they are bad (and by fight I mean cover my ears and yell), but the prequel is much, much better; the battle system is much more streamlined and the voice acting is better across the board.

SoulCalibur II wasn't even that good if you ask me. But what do I know, I put 100+ hours into V, which is objectively the worst one.

I could select any number of random Japanese RPGs I've played over the last decade or so, but I'll just leave this YouTube video here: https://www.youtube.com/wat…

People complain about the overly-cartoonish action in the cutscenes, but the remake on GameCube really put the first one on par with its successors.

I'll be the first one to say it - yes, I clicked on this review because of the photo of the giant dick. YOU GOT ME.

I can't imagine "We like a trashy TV show" makes for a good read, wouldn't you agree?

Hey, Bates Motel is good, too! Unfortunately, it's because of that show that A&E is trying this… I believe they tried to do a different "horror prequel/sequel series" in Damien's timeslot (behind Bates) last year and it tanked, so I wouldn't worry too much.

Glenn: "Nurse Dory, what is your name?"
Dory: "I'm guess from the context of your question that it's Nurse Dory, but… I can't remember!"

The show may not have been as consistent as it was in the season 2-4 glory days, but god damn it it's still so fucking funny. Rest well, ye good ship Childrens Hospital.

Kate McKinnon always needs all the lines.

This is too much, man!

That's a really good song!

I watched The Mindy Project because of Adam Pally, so I'll probably watch this too, even though it sounds like an even more terrible version of Hot Tub Time Machine.

You make a good point (and the Jem and the Holograms comparison is probably an apt one), but it's hard to take seriously beneath the spastic fangirl level of rage on display here.

As I said in my comment, I've never had any technical issues with Disqus, including that one - though I've certainly heard lots about it.

I guess CSI: Cyber is doing so well that CBS thought, what the heck, let's go all in on these fancy computer things.

On a unrelated note, Claudia O'Dohrety is the best, and it's really depressing that Bertie is the best written character on this show (in the sense that she's not one of the main characters).

This isn't a knock against Brett Gelman, but I just don't buy his whole "I really like Mickey and thought we had a connection" rationale, considering we watched him act like a hugely creepy perv for two episodes with absolutely no redeeming factors to his personality at all.
