Two guys on my Facebook feed shared a clip from this show, and when I asked them if they watched it, they both said they had no idea it was even a show and thought it was a YouTube sketch.

Well they've never done a show like that on Netfl…. oh.

I find this comment interesting because I find "Under the Tide" and "Other Side" to be among the best songs on their respective albums.

The best songs on this record (like Cascades) are the ones that take you by surprise. Cascades was like a modern Portishead song and I'm SO into it. The Face duology is also awesome for that same reason.

God, I'm always glad to see them do well, but I hate The Shade so much. The chorus is just awful. Haines doesn't have the vocal range to pull that off.

I was super thrown off by how unabashedly electro this record turned out to be, but as a longtime fan of this band, I've obviously found some favourites by now (Cascades, For Kicks, The Face).

It would be pretty neat to see Starling (or hell, even that character played by Anna Chlumsky back in season 2) taking over Will's role in Red Dragon.

Networks are constantly struggling to find a way how to keep making money and stay relevant in the age of the internet. It's not really that much of a secret.

I think you're the one who misread the joke. They weren't saying TV itself is sinking, but rather broadcast networks.
