There definitely seems to be a big emphasis on being conventionally attractive, which isn't attainable for everyone (cis or trans) and seems kind of shallow sometimes.

Oh, I don't have any problem admitting that they're a good-looking couple. I also have no problem admitting that I think they're both garbage on the inside.

I didn't ask if it was technically legal. I asked if it was acceptable (in an ethical sense), which it clearly is not.

Kesha.

I watch The Voice regularly, though I hesitate to call myself a fan. But this show, and especially the prerecorded parts before the live shows, has always felt manufactured and fake. Like how they give a 5 minute (usually sob) back-story on some contestants and others don't even have their auditions or battles shown.

Ms Hill,
Did you feel betrayed by critics in the Black community spouting notion that you set up Clarence Thomas to bring a black man down? On the other hand, do you think your experience would have been taking more seriously if you were a young white lady?

Did you feel at the time that you were supported by Feminists?

Professor Hill, thank you for your courage; you have made our world better! What did you draw your strength from when going through the hearing? Did you have a mantra or something similar that helped you through that time?

Professor Hill, I don't have a question. I just want to say thank you.

Is it okay just to say how much admires Professor Hill? Her coolness, her self-possession under pressure, her elegant logic......she's one of my heroes.

Great catch! This requires some investigative and indepth coverage on my part!
