Do I have news for you about car prices.

Um, I will embarrassingly admit I have owned 3 of those for the family. They drove fine and got good MPG. One thing I warn on them, if you don’t replace the timing belt at 100k, you will dynamite the engine if the belt fails. Technically you are supposed to remove the engine to replace the belt...... Well, I did it

This was great. I read the title before clicking on it and thought the PT Cruiser will 100% be on this list. Then I saw the PT Cruiser as all the cars. So good! My mother-in-law passed away recently and I’m trying to sell her car... a PT Cruiser. KBB is reflecting inflated rates (appraised at $4000 private party) but

Texas is a failed state. I’m sooo incredibly sick of these fucking idiots being allowed to pull this shit. ENOUGH. To bad he was allowed to walk away from the scene.

Another daily reminder that Texas is a third-world state.

So you’ve never had the pleasure of meeting Hugh Janus?

You used “fit, finish and performance” in the same sentence as “Royal Enfield”??

It is not the hottest concept in a decade and you should stop saying things like that.

real indians ride royal enfield ;)

So what’s my point here? Basically, this estimate shows me how much I’ve saved by doing all my own work over the years. Since I don’t take my vehicles to shops, I haven’t had occasion to learn just how critical my wrenching skills have been in even making old car ownership possible.

If you have an old car long enough (and I mean >5 years), it IS possible to fix it to the point where it’s nearly as reliable as a new car.

Granted, by then you’d have sunken hundreds of hours into it, but there’s nothing more to break. All the parts are new!

But I understand your viewpoint. My wrenching days will have

I’d rather see “crooked” politicians get rich by investing in their own money in an American electric car manufacturer, than via a gun-lobbyist’s contributions. It’s a sliding scale.

Holy shit, a democrat from California thinks EV stock is a good buy? Shocking.

Come on Jason, this is absolutely 100% bullshit and you know it, unless you’re just trying to throw a bone to the MAGA crowd.

It’s quite simple: NASCAR fans are dolts.

Bill Clinton was a draft dodger and the NASCAR crowd hated him.

Hopefully a coupe Giulia (GTV) will survive the cull. It should be relatively cheap to do in capital investment terms and I suspect enthusiast buyers (which are Alfa’s best hope honestly) might respond better to a coupe Alfa than a sedan? one

If you replace this narrator’s voice with Trump’s voice, it would fit in perfectly.

I don’t think the imports were kicking anyone’s ass in 1972.
