It was handy for my small group of IRL gaming folks during lockdown, since it combined chat, video conferencing, and audio chat; with just enough organization to keep things neat on our computer guy’s personal server. We did tabletop RPGs, chat for co-op online games, organized when we’d meet next, etc.
“an embittered ex trying to bypass due process” by.. formally pressing charges in court and not saying anything about it for 2 years until NBC discovered it when he had to appear in court? Sounds exactly like due process to me.
The punitive measures should be taken out of the pensions and retirement of officers who had nothing to do with this. That way the pigs have actual incentive to self-regulate and enforce the rules, rather than this “thin blue line” circle jerk nonsense.
Agreed. When I think about this waste problem, I don’t think about niche board games featuring cheese enthusiasts growing their dairy farms or whatever, I think about capitalist cash-grabs where decades-old games like Monopoly or Boggle are rebranded with every IP under the sun and shoved on retail shelves all year…
I think some people here don’t understand that this isn’t “the great council of waste”.
I think everyone here is vastly underestimating how many board games are shipped and sold. I was watching a random video on youtube where a shipping guy bought a random truck’s shipment that had been abandoned by it’s original owner. It was filled with pallets full of boxes of harry potter yatzee, and various other…
damn. A COVID outbreak there could cripple the entire IT infrastructure of the USA.
If Sunset Overdrive was going to get a sequel, why didn’t work start on it in the five years before the original release and the time Sony bought the studio?
Antitrust legislation is not solely concerned with monopolies...
Genshin Impact is coming out for the Switch, isn’t it? It’s also available on iOS, Android, and Windows. How is that exclusive?
“Activision Blizzard has proven to be an extremely toxic company that has taken advantage of their employees in disgusting ways”
Which Sony merger has materially hurt Xbox? None, right? Not much of what Sony has bought has been available on Xbox. The vast majority of the studios that Sony has bought were making titles exclusively for the Playstation, usually for more than a decade, so Xbox lost nothing. And the few studios that Sony did buy…
It’s fucking glorious.
Good. We don’t need more monopolies. In the long run it usually doesn’t end well for everyone except the shareholders.
“Man I miss the 80's and 90's when everyone wasn’t acting like a little b*tch about everything.” I, too, wish the government of Florida didn’t act like the LGBT+ community had cooties.
If an organization cancels an event they were going to hold, they should be allowed to explain why. I’m sorry you think keeping their attendees safe and LGBTQ+ people existing (which make up a decent number of speedrunners for some games) are “politics”.
Shut the fuck up snowflake
If you shift something to a third-party, you still have to pay for it.
Also, if changes save $1 per model, that would have almost no effect on whatever it was that caused them to increase the price by ~$50.
Lastly, there may be less material in this PS5 model, but that doesn’t mean it is cheaper than it originally was…
And then 160 501 hundred words from a very angry person who never played a FromSoft game and thus never noticed there are difficulty options, they’re just not in a slider menu.
