Well, if someone would rather be texting or catching pokemon, boo hoo for the singer. It’s more rude to block the view of everyone around you, who paid good money to see the show, by holding your phone up to record the show. Those people aren’t watching the show, either - they’re staring at their phone screens.

There’s a big difference between someone being on their phone in a dark movie theater and a loud bright concert. Pretty much everyone has their phone out at a concert. Focus.
