Saul told Francesca that the call was November 14th or something like that when we saw the flash-forward in S4 of BCS.

I liked Willy’s Wonderland.

I had several questions!!

The Lord of the Rings is one of the major reasons he never completed ‘The Silmarillion’. Also, incidentally, LoR was written as one book but released in three volumes.

Someone didn’t code their lists properly. Bad HTML there.

I think it was a joke.

I tried. I got a few episodes in, but it just dragged too hard. It felt like I was putting so much time in and nothing significant was happening. As usual, everything looked stylish and cool, but I had no motivation to continue watching so I didn’t.

Also tried. But same(/\?\/), and the immediate focus on dark sex stuff kind of put me off at the time iirc. Not that I always revolt against that kind of content but sometimes I just don’t wanna, the amount that modern media expects you to spectate rapey power dynamic shit (if you watch a lot of stuff) is weird to me

I watched it. It helped me to make the leap to quit watching porn.

The Vast of Night was raaaaaad

But there will be nothing to publish for the last book because he won’t have started it.

“The Princess” was TERRIBLE. I think there must have been a whole three pages of dialogue in the whole movie, the rest was grunts and moans and gasps from various sword fights.

I don’t even like musical theatre, but I would either write, co-produce, or at least definitely attend the story of a plucky would-be hitman trying to make it, in: Vinny Get Your Button.

Yup. The original story is far more thought provoking than the movie. The third act undercut the entire premise. I Am Legend did the same thing.

Plugging away steadily is exactly what Nic Cage has always done, he never stopped doing movies and he has always brought the same energy no matter how putrid the script.

Not if that’s not important to them

I thought it was like James.

Yeah, that one makes little sense. They’re both brilliant films, in the case of Parasite even magnificent, but they’re not horror films.

“Dog Day Afternoon” restaged as a standoff between Batman and the Joker?

With Meta, I assume pretty soon websites will be posting articles as “virtual reality interactive experiences” where I have to put on the VR goggles and go into the metaverse and do a little dance just to make the words appear on screen.
