There have been a number Conan writers, and many of Robert Howard’s stories were rewritten by L. Sprague de Camp (some of them didn’t even contain Conan until they were rewritten) before they were published in Conan books:

It got a “B” which I wouldn’t say qualifies as negative. I have a bigger problem with them just copying the claim that Bob Ross’ reputation was “tarnished” once he died, which got pushback in the comments at the time without any example of such tarnishing.

40 percent Shia LaBeouf, 40 percent unconvincing monkey swinging shenanigans

Wikipedia is currently putting its box office at $24.6 million.

More comics continuities should embrace the Cimmerian Approach:

She did play Jo March in the 2017 Little Women, so it’s kind of fitting for her not to think of that as central.

I haven’t seen Weird Science (or most of the other ones), but it would be strange to me for someone writing professionally for a pop culture site about these kinds of movies to have not seen Animal House.

The claim that it’s based on anything real is the strangest thing about it to me.

She’s been playing roles too old for her in all her David O. Russell movies.

Yes, even though it would appear to be fighting a losing battle, it’s worth resisting entropy degrading everything.

Double standards sometimes exist for a reason, and males vs females when it comes to sex is one of them.

Animal House goes on the trash fire? That made me discount your broader assessment. Sex is hardly absent from the film, but it isn’t about a quest to get laid.

Who is drawing a conclusion and claiming it’s “settled”? What are the multiple sources that should be weighed against one?

The French Dispatch is about journalists covering events in France. Wright’s character is a food critic writing about a chef in the French police (who gets involved in the rescue of the police chief’s son). It’s not a poem, and in-universe it’s non-fiction rather than a “short story” in the normal sense.

I didn’t argue it was settled (ironically, Lady Tyler “Bio” Rodriguez above disputed whether it was “settled” in response to your comment). I linked to an argument specifically addressing Soviet invasion vs Nagasaki bombing contributing to the Japanese decision to unconditionally surrender. Presumably there are

Is it actually a fallacy?

Ctrl+F for Rushmore only turns up the comments section. Where did you acknowledge it?

No, all the spinoffs are connected to The Conjuring while Insidious movies all have titles beginning with “Insidious”. Patrick Wilson plays different characters in the two series.

Credited to him, but all actually directed by Tobe Hooper :)
