Sniper rifle from a distance isn’t the mafia M.O. Shooting someone in the back of the head from short range with a pistol, or rigging their car up with a bomb, are how they usually do it.

Doh! I had to rewrite it because Kinja stupidly moves hyperlinked text to the beginning of a line.

I found Lord of War disappointing*, and I’m surprised it’s getting a sequel.

I beat you to this news:

He announced the new CEO is Linda Yaccarino:

Speaking of Barry, Jay Roach played himself when he cast Barry in that idiotic comedy where he’s trying to trick the protagonist into eating a disgusting pie. He’d shifted toward more prestigious/political movies by then, so it was amusing he was willing to present himself as a purveyor of crap.

When I got Netflix, Black Mirror was one of the 2 or 3 shows I used to initialize my preferences, but it’s gotten less interesting since moving there. I haven’t watched any of it since Bandersnatch, and while its anthology nature means I could just skip over lesser episodes/seasons, I don’t know that I’ll actually

I suppose this is good news for somebody I know who watches Egyptian TV to keep his Arabic from rusting. I’ll try to remember to pester him about what he thinks of it while declining to watch any depictions of Cleopatra myself (sorry, dead Elizabeth Taylor).

Punisher: War Zone isn’t just better than the Thomas Jane Punisher movie, it’s better than New Mutants, The Last Stand and Blade II (which is not good, and I’m glad you at least ranked it lower than the original Blade). First Class is really overrated, with an uninteresting villain and the completely unforgivable

The musical adaptation decided to update that angle by having Beetlejuice perv on everybody.

I don’t think she was an actress prior to The Good Place.
