Hey, I dislike both Marvel AND Avatar!

I watched the original Avatar recently*, and I hate it, but I see no point in denying that it made money.

Why even bother talking about it once it’s been withdrawn?

I never saw Blade: Trinity, but my understanding is that Snipes was very uncooperative in the making of that, which could explain his character’s lack of relevancy.

Defoe would actually work as Renfield (or, as he’s called in Nosferatu, Knock). Stoker’s character is middle-aged, not Hoult’s age.

Blade was good, but Blade 2 was not. Bringing back Whistler after he was clearly killed in the previous movie but ALSO bringing in Norman Reedus to take his place & be annoying? Having fights that look like CGI videogame characters jumping around? Del Toro should be embarrassed.

True, I haven’t seen it, in part because of the complaints I heard about that character.

“The Unauthorized Taylor Swift Story: A Musical by Hildur Gudnadottir”

Ah, I never watched Lost.

Is she being cast as “Milton from the Office”?

Ah, like Al Pacino’s for Scent of a Woman (which I admittedly haven’t seen) or Scorsese’s for The Departed. I believe Jeremy Irons’ attributed his Reversal of Fortune win to Dead Ringers.

The Academy can certainly be faulted for giving Top Gun: Maverick a Best Adapted Screenplay nomination, rather than Best Cinematography.

The films they are sequels to.

A Lifetime Achievement Award is what’s used to reward someone for multiple years rather than single film.

I would rank not only Tar and EEAAO above Top Gun: Maverick, but also Banshees (my favorite film of the year) and The Fabelmans. I haven’t seen the other five.

Which movie/TV show had a kid named Walt? You didn’t say “Walter Jr” (much less “Flynn”), so it can’t be Breaking Bad.

Except for the Dreyfus Affair, in which good fun was had by all.

Leading actors are more attractive than the average person, film at 11...

Here’s my prediction: Hildur Gudnadottir wins her EGOT before Taylor Swift.

Pearl never had a chance. Slasher franchises don’t get nominated.
