I’m annoyed by all those notifications that aren’t replies, so I’m fine with it. But I’m still ticked that the system of linking directly to comments is broken so when I do get a reply notification it’s a hassle to get to it to respond.

Wikipedia has Amy Sherman-Palladino categorized as Jewish. But I guess by Jewish law since her mother had been a Baptist she wouldn’t qualify.

Given that there’s an ethnic angle to Judaism, it makes more sense to me to cast someone who shares that trait of the character than for sexuality.

“most interesting bit” is still a low bar. That story is about a bunch of awful people who never learn any lessons and instead just commit a series of war crimes against each other and die.
She was great in Thoroughbreds and Sound of Metal was excellent, but the stuff she appears in isn’t invariably great. Her most recent film has a 27% RT score (only her 3rd lowest). This might be her highest profile role yet.
The first season has completely invented scenes that are still quite good. And Benioff’s “The 25th Hour” was good. I think they just got tired of the show and wanted to be done with it.
Their deal isn’t with HBO anymore. I think they’re adapting “The Three Body Problem” for Netflix.
