I didn’t take Bash’s actions as just an expression of “concern for her physical welfare”. His notions of who he’s supposed to be bleed into his behavior, and that manifests as jealousy and assertion of his place as Rhonda’s husband in this instance, even if he acts differently at the end of the episode.

He didn’t actually invent that many, it’s just that the dictionary tends to cite his work for them.
