Yeah, I picked it up to play something over Xmas after 2077 seemed to shart the bed. Glad I did, it’s a heck of a lot of fun. Though I had no idea what it was, so I was a bit shocked by the MASSIVE amount of storytelling involved before I got to suit up and blast some Ms.

PS4 Pro here, no major issues, didn’t crash yet, a rare texture pop in here and there, nothing serious, frame rates are OK, or at least I didn’t notice any serious drop. One thing for sure, this is the first game where I feel, that the PS4 Pro is used at close to max capacity.

Easy mode is back there, really. By the time you play Demon’s Souls enough to unlock that door the game will feel quite easy to you. Easy mode unlocked! It was in you all along. 💖

To be fair, it basically set the gold standard by which difficult games are still measured today -11 years later. Even in this review of the OG game remastered that started it all, they even used “souls-like”. Yes, Demon Souls is very much like a soulsborne game.
