Agree to disagree. I see these illustrations and value the talent it took to create them. I see the original photos and can also appreciate the skillset it took to produce them. They’re different mediums and different end products.

photography is a different skill entirely. A painter who discovers a hillside in Auvers-sur-Oise and becomes inspired to create shouldn’t be expected to learn a different craft in order to do-so. Inspiration comes from anywhere and everywhere and we have more tools now.
Photobashing has been a thing for a very long time. We now have tools that make creation significantly more efficient. I don’t, for one moment, believe renaissance artists wouldn’t fully leverage layers and tracing if they had the opportunity. Using people as reference were a sign of the time simply because more…
I don’t have any problems with any of this. They all seem different enough to be considered an original piece. There’s original artistry in ever single one of these.
I’m glad Baiken feels comfortable enough to make her own decisions and we shouldn’t shame her for wanting implants.
Unionize them all. Ridiculous that we have better laws protecting investors than laws protecting the people making the products.
Yeah... Persona 5 Royal has some aspects that were better than 3 or 4, but characters and story were better in the preceding entries.

“Did I just describe the entire body of the existing copyright law?”
Yes, but you’ve put it on a constantly validated chain, thereby cutting out the legal fees associated with enforcing copyright law.
I always cringed when I saw a system plastered with stickers or not cleaned properly. These images hurt me on a visceral level.
FFVIII *is* underrated. Upon revisiting it a couple years back, it’s actually pretty darn solid. Has its problems (which FF doesn’t? Arguably VI, but I digress...), but is overall quite enjoyable.
But FFT is better than most of the games you mentioned.
As a parent of two girls, he is clearly passing time waiting to have access to the bathroom.
