Even “straight flat roads” often have dips or humps that you probably don’t even notice at lower speeds, but would be pretty dangerous at high speeds. If a road isn’t designed for high speed, then it likely (but not certainly) isn’t safe for high speed.

Going fast on roads that are not designed for it is inherently dangerous. A small hump at 50mph becomes an air-inducing jump at 100mph. Not to mention other traffic that is unprepared for other cars to be doing speeds nearly twice as fast.

Because you are sacrificing driveability, more passengers, efficiency, etc. to potentially haul something that you could either A) borrow a truck for or B) rent a truck for. Renting a truck costs like $30 or something, so even if you did it many times per year, it would still be cheaper and much more practical than…

I know I’m probably a minority here, but I think the E30 looks leaps and bounds better without the M3 widebody. It still has that 80s boxiness, but is still sleek and tidy.

I’m pretty confident when I say that probably 90% of trucks sold to the general public are completely unnecessary and do not get used for their intended purpose. Well terrorism is a deliberate attempt to instill fear and to harm/kill innocent people, while driving accidents are an unfortunate but unintentional reality.
