Not really. The stories being djinn are what freak me out.
On a serious note, I thought it was weird that Pokemon was playing with Islamic theology in Hoopa, the fact that his altered form is actually called a djinn in the Pokedex. If the trailer is any indication, Ash isn’t evil, but possessed by the djinn that is Hoopa Unbound.
Through the main character they’re apologizing for the game already.
