You’re going to get about 400 people telling you that he’s still in jail. lol.

I was in a union... and I learned that they breed complacency. I was told, numerous times, to put less effort into my job by co-workers and managers alike because it won’t get me anywhere because of seniority. Seriously?

You begrudge my rights to put forth my opinion of really bad blogger?

I’m as pro-union as anybody, but you still have to be careful not to bite the hand that feeds you.

Great. This means we’ll get 10 more pro-union, factually inaccurate propaganda pieces from Hamilton Nolan

Searching for any reason to attack Trump while trying to stay auto related.

AND it was a catch.

Anyone who says violence is the answer is part of the problem.

It’s pretty telling that, in your mind, FOIA is classified as a method of attack, rather than exactly what it says on the tin; freedom of information.

This is the only take that works, because when the shoe is on the other foot, all hell will breaks loose.

or a gun.

Oooh, the “real life is hard” take, while you sit there telling me about how much you need the government to take your money. How dare I expect accountability before I just blindly hand over my dollars!

Well, there’s the crux of it, isn’t it? Ultimately all taxation is a violent act obscured by pleasantries. Because if you don’t pay when asked nicely, men with guns will either force you to or attempt to take you to jail. Now, does that sound like a very nice system to you? Doesn’t that sound more like they’re trying

Well the problem there is that we let governments either amass huge surpluses or run up huge deficits. If they couldn’t do either, that would rather seem to solve that problem, wouldn’t it?

It’s good to know there are still people out there that believe the government is completely accountable and responsible with how it spends our money. Such innocence is... refreshing.

‘taxpayer’ money reminds us that the funds come from individual people (I think of everyone, not a particular race or class of people as taxpayers), it isn’t just there like a ‘public’ space is.

Taxation is theft, the only difference is whether you agree with the reason behind it or not. You’re fine with paying taxes for roads, schools, perhaps even healthcare because those are all things we all use and need. What about all the things that taxes get spent on that you’re not fine with? Like say, drone bombing

This reads like 1st day on the job Hamno. It’s a mess trying to push a narrative like a lot of bullshit think pieces.

Kind of like how Deadspin posted a video of a woman possibly being raped and refused to take it down.

they refer to themselves as boys. don’t see the big deal here.
