@edosan: Maybe drownedphoniex is referring to the delay the brain has in registering when you're full. That could be the difference between eating one burger versus having two.

@Gyaruson: I'm also at 499 and it's my last achievement for the game. Damn, time to print out a map and start a grid based sweep of the city.

@Southrncomfortjm: It's not just that they're dust magnets, but they create dust. Carpets will always be releasing fibers that add to the overall dust levels in the room.

@endaround: And unless you're using all wool or other PVC-free carpeting, they're environmental bogies.

@Stitched: They make decent linoleum these days. I recently saw some linoleum tiles that looked like slate tiles until I got up close and poked at it.

@Noks415: Fantastic, another game to go on my "plan to get" list.

@goldwings: Hmm, does it sound more like a 4-banger or a V8?

@KanSer: Actually, all the games I'm looking forward to for the 360 aren't shooters. Ghostbusters, Brutal Legend, Wallace and Grommitt, and Mass Effect 2.

@LilPockets: The drives in GCs failed a lot. I had to have EB and Gamestop replace a couple GCs because the drives would stop spinning.

@anduin1: You mean like your last sexual encounter?

@Raziel66: Check the historical timeline they're developing for STO, apparently the Klingons have been picking fights with the Gorn (the dinosaus you speak of).

@greasypigarvin: I bought a Batman piggy bank at Meltdown Comics in Hollywood. It had some scuffs, so I asked for a discount and got it reduced from $10 to $8.

@geekgrrl: Immolation by proton pack — like the housekeeper's cart.

Wow, I had no idea that Lifehacker HQ was in LA.

@wunch: Hmm, can't upgrade until they have a 16GB version, since I already have an 8gb Cruzer.

In decreasing practicality for road use:

@baron_army: God, I often have to review my peer's essays and reports. I should refer them all to this program so they can scan their work before they pass it on to me for markup.
