@mykalt4 it may *look* dock-like, but its actually a real taskbar that helps with window management. The dock cant decide if its a taskbar or an app launcher an isn't well suited for either.

@casperiv: yes, easy transfer or whatever they call it this week doesn't cut it. Apple got this part right - archive install usually does the job for fixing/upgrading the OS, yet saves data, settings and applications.
