*Rob, someone needs to proof-read this entry right away!*

I loved that smile! I loved the fact that she’s delighted to do battle again, and Lex’s 1918 photo of her really evoked a “Captain America” feeling in me, which is a compliment.

I am drained with sadness. If you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go watch the #SupergirlXTheFlash crossover (X NOT V) and cheer up. Again.

Luther’s henchmen are just taking cargo off a ship and driving down the street in a truck. They likely know that it’s illegal; they almost certainly do not know what the cargo is or what it’s to be used for. No police officer not serving in the Gestapo has the legal and acceptable right to kill under those conditions.

I would argue that branding someone knowing that the brand will lead to their death after they’ve been lawfully punished qualifies, at the very least, as mass manslaughter, and doesn’t have any moral greyness to it at all.

My “favorite” moment as at the beginning when Bruce Wayne calls one of his employees and tells him to evacuate the building. The employee looks out the window AS THE CITY IS BEING TORN DOWN and is like “that’s a good idea, I hadn’t even thought of that.”

I always thought that the comic origin of Luthor - they were friends until Supes made him bald! - was the dumbest thing ever.

Basically she shows up, says very little and kicks ass with a smile on her face. She’s around in costume, less than 10 minutes.

Then I can’t recommend Daredevil and Jessica Jones enough for you. 180 degree turnaround in atmosphere from the movies, but in the same universe.

From everything that I have read, I can’t tell if “Wonder Woman is great” comments are because it’s a great performance by Gal Gadot or if it’s because she just didn’t completely suck in a movie of generally suckiness. Or they are just happy to see WW on screen they don’t care as long as she’s hitting something.

I can't wait to read this article a second time. It was lovely! And I've been waiting for this article since the one about how things happened in MoS as best as you can remember

Oh, Rob. You left out the weird death obsession, what with us having to watch Martha Wayne die in slow motion... twice.... on top of the bagpipe filled double funeral and all the time spent hanging around in cemetaries, crypts, and talking to dead people. Throw in Jimmy O. getting shot in the face and it’s basically

Well, he heads back to Lex, who is now in Zod’s old ship, which is inexplicably still hanging out in downtown Metropolis.

This is an Easter egg for Zack Snyder. He killed one of Superman’s key supporting characters for “fun.” He thinks watching the characters comics nerds want to see get murdered on-screen is “fun.”

I have been waiting for this with more excitement than I have been waiting for the movie, which I now will not need to see because this is clearly the superior product!

It’s realist vs. idealist, and we’ve seen how violent that debate can get. I have a feeling they will both be victims of circumstance, with misunderstanding escalating the disagreement until they come to blows.

I feel like Michael Bay would do a better job with the DC Movie universe than Snyder. In fact, I'm certain of it. That's not because Bay is good, its just that Snyder is that bad.

Another great piece of writing, CJ. I will surely read again immediately after posting this...

Don’t forget, this scene is played more than once in this movie - Just in this Movie.

At least we will have Monday’s Supergirl/Flash smileganza to cleanse our brains :-)
